REOPENS 2012 on Tuesday 7 February at 8.55am

Oxford Crescent School is situated in central Upper Hutt and is set in pleasant tree lined Oxford Crescent. We have a roll of approximately 340 students. Our school has been extensively remodelled and we are fortunate to have attractive classrooms and large playgrounds. Oxford Crescent School was opened in 1953 to serve a rapidly growing community and has enjoyed a very positive reputation in the Upper Hutt community since then.

The teachers at Oxford Crescent School are committed to providing high-quality educational programmes for all students and work hard to ensure that their programmes reflect current innovative educational practice.

Our students are provided with a programme which focuses on the school priorities of literacy, numeracy, and regular physical activity.

We have been regularly reviewed by the Education Review office (ERO) and these reviews have always been very positive about our educational programmes and affirming of our policies and practices.

We are ably supported by an experienced Board of Trustees who govern the school and by an energetic Home and School Committee who undertake various fundraising activities throughout the year.
