HEALTH

FIRST AID:
Our medical room is situated next to the school office. It is used for minor injuries and as a place for injured and sick children to rest while their parents are contacted. Staff make every endeavour to contact parents if an emergency arises but children are taken to the doctor or an ambulance called if a serious situation occurs and parents/caregivers cannot be contacted. At all times staff do their best to communicate with parents over health concerns.

It is essential that up-to-date information be given to the school in cases where special medication is required. If your child requires a staff member to administer medication during school hours, a parent/caregiver must sign a medical consent form and ensure that the appropriate medication is available.
