Welcome to Oxford Crescent School

Oxford Crescent School

A school alive with learning – He ora tenei kura I te akoranga

In step with the needs of its students and the community

Oxford Crescent School is located in central Upper Hutt City.  Oxford Crescent School was established in 1953 and has enjoyed a very positive reputation in the Upper Hutt community since then.

It is located in Oxford Crescent and provides a well-resourced education for the Upper Hutt community’s children. We have a roll of approximately 300 students and we are well supported by our parents and caregivers. The school has attractive classrooms, large playgrounds and playing fields, a hall and a heated swimming pool.

Oxford Crescent School Board of Trustees consulted with the school community in 2015. The response was very positive and community feedback assisted us with the development of the current charter and strategic plans.

The vision, values and principles statements guide the school’s direction.
